Food and wine
There are good and cheap restaurants in various villages in the vicinity: Ansignan, Cassagnes, Montner, Cases de Pene, Rodes, Ille, Prades etc. In
Perpignan
there is a restaurant street starting from the Castillet.The wine is very good in the region (Roussillon Village). Among the best Chateau de Caladroi (2 miles away). Wine tasting may be a very good pastime. The basic foods are baguettes (bread), cheese, merguez (sausages) and crème brulée (pudding with caramel).
